01In the app (fastest)
- 1.Open Klario and sign in.
- 2.Go to Profile.
- 3.Tap "Delete Account".
- 4.Confirm. Your account and data are permanently removed.
02By email
If you can't access the app, email support@klario.finance from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify and process the request within 30 days.
03Delete specific data (without closing your account)
You can remove individual data in the app at any time:
- Disconnect a bank: Profile > Money & Banking > Linked Banks > select a bank > Disconnect. This removes that bank and its synced transactions.
- Delete budgets, savings goals, or debts: open the item and choose Delete.
For anything else, email support@klario.finance from your registered email and we'll remove the requested data within 30 days.
04What is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile and personal details
- Linked bank connections
- Transactions
- Budgets
- Savings goals
- Debts
- Notifications
- Identity (KYC) data
05What is kept, and for how long
Records we are legally required to retain (e.g. anti-fraud, tax and regulatory records under applicable Nigerian law) are kept for up to the period required by law, then permanently deleted. We do not retain this data for any other purpose.
